The Bloom Seal ® Process


The process results in a permanent chemical modification of the containers. The treated surface is highly resistant to deterioration from chemical attack or mechanical abrasion.

When a barrier is created by Bloom Seal ® inside the container, the solubility co-efficient between the container barrier and the product is drastically reduced and the diffusivity of the product, as well. As a result of these reductions, PERMEABILITY is negligible and eventually lowers product weight loss. The Bloom Seal ® is a fluorination process, which treats HDPE containers made by advanced blow moulding technology to produce an effective barrier at the inner and the outer walls of the containers.
